Jcrew teamed up with Halley Stevensons to find the perfect fabric for their "Fireman Jacket".

The design by Jcrew is inspired bythe 1950's vintage fisherman's jacket, but with a modern twist.

Mission Workshop have launched "THE EIGER WX" jacket made with Halley Stevensons waxed cotton.
Our fabric partner, Halley Stevensons, has been manufacturing the world’s finest wax canvas in their “Baltic Works” factory since 1864, where they got their start as a maker of rainwear for the North Sea fisherman fighting wind and waves off the coast of Scotland. To celebrate this heritage, the interior of each jacket is fitted with Halley Stevensons’s official label of authenticity and quality.
Made in Dundee, Scotland, the 280g/m2 outer shell fabric is durable, weatherproof, and refined. The jacket features a 3-point adjustable hood, a collection of cargo stash pockets, and custom made Italian RiRi snaps. The entire jacket is lined with a soft, quick-drying nylon for comfort and durability. The Eiger WX will look better with age and is able to be re-proofed as needed to maintain its weatherproof finish for a lifetime of use.
